Laura Lopez-Gomez holds a PhD in economics from the University of Murcia (Spain) where she currently teaches in the Faculty of Tourism and International Relations as lecturer. Specialized in applied econometrics, her areas of interest focus on economic development, institutional quality and gender studies. She has taught at the Institute of European Studies at the University of Wroclaw (Poland). She currently teaches Statistics and Data Management in the International Relations and Tourism degrees. She has published in journals such as Economic Systems, Applied Economic Analysis or Feminist Economist, among others.
