The fourth workshop on “Advanced Quantitative Methods and Analytics for Public Policy Support” (AQMAPPS) aims at improving public policy through advanced data modelling techniques, following the previous editions in Milan (2023), Amsterdam (2024) and New York (2025).

The workshop is organised by the Horizon Europe BRIDGE consortium.

Location: Estonian Business School, Tallinn

Dates: September 15th and 16th, 2026

Join the dialogue and contribute to an interdisciplinary discussion at the forefront of quantitative methods and analytics for public policy support. We invite scholars from education, economics, sociology, political science, health, labour studies, and related social sciences to submit research that advances evidence-based decision-making for the public good.

Call for Papers

We welcome submissions presenting novel theoretical frameworks, rigorous empirical analyses, and actionable policy insights. Contributions should address real-world policy or managerial challenges across education, health, crime, and other societal domains, and provide implications accessible to policymakers, practitioners, and researchers.

Researchers from economics, sociology, education, political science and related fields are encouraged to submit work contributing to eviden-based policymaking.

The topics of interest include:

  • Educational participation and completion
  • Predictors of student transitions
  • Early-warning systems for dropout
  • The impact of COVID-19 on learning outcomes
  • International student mobility
  • Efficiency and cost-effectiveness of education policies
  • Data-driven approaches to improve equity and inclusion

Interested scholars are invited to submit an extended abstract (maximum 1,000 words, PDF format). Please note that the word limit represents a maximum, not a target.

Submission Deadline: May 1st, 2026

To submit a proposal for the conference, please email the submission PDF and contact information for the author(s) to the following email address: aqmapps@ebs.ee.

We look forward to your contributions and to the stimulating discussions they will inspire at AQMAPPS 2026.
