3° INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "Renaissance in Economics 2026".

This conference aims to facilitate interdisciplinary dialogue among economists, social scientists, policymakers, business leaders, and civil society advocates. By examining five interrelated dimensions of research, participants are invited to critically assess and redesign economic models and policy frameworks in light of the Sustainability Goals. The program seeks to advance a shared understanding of how these models can contribute to a just and sustainable global future.

Who Should Attend:

  • This conference is open to researchers, academics, policy advisors, business leaders, non-profit organizations, and any individuals interested in advancing an economic paradigm shift toward sustainability, equity, and resilience. Expectedconference participants are both senior and young.
  • Participants may contribute in the following ways:
  1. Extended Abstracts for Presentations. Submit an extended abstract (600-1,200 words) summarizing the main arguments, research questions, and key insights of your research or practice-based work.
  2. Full Research Papers. Submit a complete paper presenting new findings or theoretical contributions related to the conference themes. Papers may focus on advanced topics or deep analyses that explore the potential for transformative change in economic paradigms.
  3. Policy or Practice-Oriented Contributions. For those with expertise in policymaking, consulting, or applied research, we welcome policy papers or case studies that demonstrate real-world applications and impacts related to the conference themes. Submissions should provide in-depth analysis, insights, and lessons that inform best practices or actionable recommendations.

General Guidelines for Submissions:

  • Relevance: Contributions are expected to engage with one or more of the five pillars of the conference, while interdisciplinary or cross-cutting perspectives are also welcome.
  • Structure: Each submission should clearly state the research problem or policy question, outline the methodology or analytical framework, and present key findings or insights.
  • Formatting: Submissions should follow standard academic formatting (e.g., Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, with proper referencing style).

Submission Process:

  • Submit documents in PDF or Word format by February 27th, 2026.
  • Each submission should include the author’s name, affiliation, and contact information.
  • All submissions must be sent to Google Form: https://forms.gle/m4awffPysNeRHaQm7.
  • The Young scholar submissions (< 35 years) must be sent to Google Form: https://forms.gle/mQP2G4GRuhuf6vC17

Review and Selection Process:

  • Submissions will be reviewed by the conference committee for alignment with conference themes, originality, and potential to contribute to actionable insights. Accepted participants will be notified by March 20th, 2026.

Young Scholar Manifesto Award:

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Young Scholar Manifesto Award, which will honor the best paper presented by an early-career researcher at the conference. The Award consist of:

  • aims to encourage young scholars to contribute and inspire impactful change in the field of economics.
  • calls for innovative and original research that advances theoretical, empirical, or policy-oriented understanding of the themes addressed by the conference.
  • recognizes originality, research rigor, and relevance to the conference themes, fostering innovative approaches to new economic paradigms.
  • The prize amounts to €1,500 (gross, before taxes).
  • The commission reserves the right to award an Honorable Mention as part of the Prize for the second and third best paper submitted by a young scholar.
