We are delighted to invite you to apply for our upcoming Economics Summer School 2025: Macroeconomic Policy & Financial Stability Methods, taking place 22-26 September 2025 at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow.
Taught by leading experts in the field with strong links to central banks, policy-making institutions, and international organisations, this in-person course (with the option for joining online in a hybrid format) is delivered in the following five blocks:
- Block 1: A Brief History of Financial Crises: The Search for Monetary and Financial Stability
- Block 2: Banking & Systemic Risk
- Block 3: Equity Markets & Systemic Risk
- Block 4: Real Estate Markets & Systemic Risk
- Block 5: Policy Responses to Financial Stability Risks: Past, Present and Future.
The course provides a unique opportunity to:
- Explore recent developments and future challenges to national, regional and global financial stability.
- Investigate modern economic theories.
- Learn to apply state of the art quantitative tools with real-life data for policy analysis and forecasting.
