COURSE OVERVIEW

This course is an introduction to the popular econometric software, EViews. The focus will be on basic modules and structures of EViews that will help users to fully harness the capabilities of the software. With hands-on examples, discussions and in-class exercises, the course will introduce important concepts such as workfiles, objects, databases, graphical and data management capabilities and basic single-equation analysis.

After this course, participants will be well prepared to pursue further learning leading to more advanced econometric analyses in areas such as time-series, panel data and other more sophisticated analyses.
