At the University of Göttingen -Public Law Foundation-, Professur Entwicklungsökonomik mit Schwerpunkt Südasien (Prof. Vollmer), there is a position as
PhD Research Fellow
to be filled. Starting date is 1 April 2025. The position is limited to 3 years. It is meant to qualify young academics and offers the chance to earn a PhD. The regular working hours will be 75% of the regular working hours which corresponds to 29.85 hours per week with a limited contract of 3 years. Salary in accordance with the German public service salary scale: Pay grade 13 TV-L.
The research group works on Development Economics and Global Health. You are expected to contribute to the research and teaching projects of the Chair. Within a research-based, interdisciplinary and international environment, you have wide opportunities to develop your skills and to work on your doctoral thesis.
Your profile
- Successful completion of a Master degree in Development Economics or another relevant discipline
- Interest in interdisciplinary research in Development Economics and Global Health
- Good knowledge of empirical methods
- Good English skills are expected
