Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Economics

The Department of Economics, Management and Statistics of the University of Milan-Bicocca invites expressions of interest for a position of Tenure Track Assistant Professor in Economics (RTT, 13 ECON-01/A Economia Politica). We welcome applications from candidates with a strong research track-record in any field of Economics. Eligible candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Economics.  

The position will be full time for a period of up to 6 years. After a minimum of 3 years, the position can be converted into an Associate Professorship, subject to a positive departmental evaluation and to holding the Italian National Qualification as Associate Professor.  

Teaching load is about 60 hours (per year) and the expected starting date is September 2025. A top-up on the standard national salary for these positions may be offered to outstanding candidates. Candidates (of any nationality) who have been resident outside of Italy for at least the last 2 years will be able to apply for a significant tax break spanning the entire length of the contract.
