Two Tenure-Track Assistant Professor Positions in Econometrics or Statistics/Economic Statistics - University of Verona

The positions offer a gross annual salary of approximately €50,000. National tax benefits may be available to researchers moving to Italy from academic positions abroad. Research funds covering expenses such as travel, conference fees and submission fees are allocated annually on the basis of research performance, including publications and research projects.

The positions offer a tenure-track pathway to Associate Professor: researchers who meet the scientific qualification and productivity requirements established by Italian law and receive a positive evaluation by the University are appointed as Associate Professors.

The positions come with a teaching load of up to 60 hours per year during the first three years and up to 120 hours per year from the fourth year onwards. The Department offers courses taught in both Italian and English at all academic levels.

Candidates are expected to have a strong research track record and the ability to attract competitive research funding at both national and international levels.
