We invite interested authors to submit papers on occupational mismatch and skill shortages for the final conference of the TRAILS Project (www.trails-project.eu).
The conference, funded by the EU Horizon program, will be held in Naples, Italy, on September 10-11, 2026.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Pierre Cahuc (Science Po), Program Director for the IZA Institute of Labor Economics program and CEPR research fellow.
CONFERENCE DETAILS: The conference is a one-and-a-half-day event and will be held in person in Naples, Italy, on Thursday, September 10, and Friday, September 11, 2026. We will cover lunches for all conference participants on both conference days, as well as a dinner reception on Thursday. The conference program will include 10 papers (in addition to the keynote lecture) and a policy panel, featuring Samuel Bentolila (CEMFI), Sandra McNally (Surrey), and Konstantinos Pouliakas (CEDEFOP).
TO SUBMIT A PAPER: E-mail the PDF of your paper to Stefania Maddaluno, trailsconference2026@gmail.com. The submission deadline is April 15, 2026. Authors of papers will be notified by May 10, 2026.
