PhD/Research Associate Position at the University of Hohenheim in the field of Microeconomics
The Department of Economics at the University of Hohenheim invites applications for a PhD/Research Associate position in the field of Microeconomics (Information and Uncertainty), starting on December 1, 2025 (or later by agreement). The position is remunerated according to the German public sector pay scale (75% TV-L E13).
We offer an intellectually stimulating research environment and a collegial, supportive atmosphere within the Institute of Economics.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the chair鈥檚 research projects in the area of microeconomics.
- Teach courses at the Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 level.
- Supervise Bachelor鈥檚 and Master鈥檚 theses.
- Assist in the academic administration and organization of the chair.
Qualifications
- Master鈥檚 degree (or PhD) in economics or a closely related field.
- Strong quantitative skills and a keen interest in theoretical economic modeling.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to take on responsibility.
