This appointment is set to enhance both research and teaching initiatives in the Centre for Digital Economics (C4DE) and the Centre for Central Banking.

Markus Reisinger, Head of the Economics & Law Department, expressed enthusiasm about Bindseil’s arrival, underscoring his extensive background in the digital economy and financial technologies. "He is a perfect fit for our department and the Frankfurt School at large," Reisinger stated.

Co-Pierre Georg, Director of the Centre for Digital Economics, remarked on the timely nature of Bindseil's expertise, noting it aligns with the ongoing transformation of financial market infrastructures driven by new technologies.

Recognized for his international leadership in monetary policy and regulatory frameworks, Bindseil previously served in key positions at the European Central Bank (ECB) and is also a respected author in the field.
