Economist Antonio Aranibar Appointed as UN Resident Coordinator in Equatorial Guinea
Antonio Aranibar of Bolivia has been appointed by United Nations Secretary-General Ant贸nio Guterres as the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Equatorial Guinea, effective March 16, 2025, with the host Government鈥檚 approval. Aranibar takes over from Anna M. Pont, who, from 2022 to 2024, led the UN's program to implement the UN's Sustainable Development Goals in Equatorial Guinea.
