We invite submissions for the 2nd International Conference on Finance and Behavioral Decision Making, scheduled on November 12-14, 2025 and hosted by the Department of Finance of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
The conference aims to provide a platform for academic researchers and professionals specialized in Economics and Finance to interact, exchange ideas, and share expertise on topics related to economic behavior, investors and markets behavior, digital economics, and disruptive digital technologies in the New Era of Innovation.
Keynote speakers
Stefan Palan, PhD
Stefan Palan is Associate Professor of Finance and head of the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Graz, as well as a lecturer at the University of Innsbruck and at Management Center Innsbruck. He serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, coordinator of the Finance Research Platform Graz, and scientific director of the Max Jung Lab Graz, and is a founder and former Managing Director of the Society for Experimental Finance. His research focuses on perception in finance and on individual financial behavior.
Call for papers
Authors are invited to submit their extended papers in PDF format, by September 15, 2025 via email to icfbd@econ.ubbcluj.ro. The manuscript format has no specific requirements, apart from proficient English and a high scientific quality of the content. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process conducted by experts in Economics and Finance. Authors will be notified of the review outcomes and required revisions.
