The INOMICS Handbook 2020 edition is far more comprehensive than its predecessors, spanning themes as diverse as: tax reform in the UK and US; sexism in our economies; the student-debt crisis; lucrative jobs in economics; and, of course, INOMICS’ own take on the COVID-19 pandemic. On top of these, you will find contributions from eminent economists Marcel Fratzscher and Matthew O. Jackson, and a profile of the Lives and Livelihoods Fund, written by its founder Mr Waleed Ahmad J. Addas. The INOMICS Awards also returns, celebrating the Top Employers, Training Courses, Master’s and PhD programmes, Conferences, and Summer Schools, as chosen by INOMICS’ trusted users.
The INOMICS Handbook 2019 is the third edition of the annual career guide for economists. It contains articles on the gender imbalance within the discipline, the case for ecological economics, developing soft skills, what makes a ‘successful’ economist. On top of these, you will find contributions from eminent economists Marcel Fratzscher and Esteban Rossi-Hansberg. There is also a return of the INOMICS Awards, which celebrates the Top Employers, Universities, Master’s and PhD programmes, Conferences, and Summer Schools. Here a notable mention must go to the University of Barcelona and EcoMod, our two most decorated institutions.
The INOMICS Handbook 2018 is the second edition of the annual career guide for economists. Contributors to this edition include esteemed economic institutions such as the German Institute for Economic Research, the International Monetary Fund, and the University of Barcelona, as well as eminent economists like Marcel Fratzscher and John Cochrane. There is also a reprisal of the INOMICS Awards, this year’s categories extended to encompass: top employers, best training courses, best Master’s and PhD programmes, best conferences, and the best summer schools.
The INOMICS Handbook 2017 is the first edition of a complete career guide compiled specifically for economists. It includes, among others, the INOMICS Awards for best-practice recruitment, rankings of the top universities and research institutes for economists to work for, a job market analysis including findings on average salaries around the world, average salaries by gender and factors justifying higher salaries, as well as articles and insights for everyone currently active, as a recruiter or a jobs seeker, in the academic job market.
