Founded in 2001, the Mzumbe University (MU) in Tanzania is a public academic
institution with three campuses throughout Tanzania. MU operates under
the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Tanzania and is owned
by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania. MU focuses on public
service, training, outreach activities, research, and consultancy in areas
of Africa, and internationally as well.Â
