The Institute of Economic Growth (IEG) was founded in 1958 as a center of
the University of Delhi in India. IEG has established a faculty of
approximately 30 scientists, economists, sociologists, and demographers in
order to produce advanced training and research. IEG focuses on 9 themes
including topics such as globalization and trade, resource and environment
economics, rural development, and macro-economic policy.Â
