University of Siena - Department of Economics & Statistics

The *Dipartimento di Economia Politica e Statistica* (*Department of Economics and Statistics*) of the University of Siena has an established reputation in the Italian academia. In the last round of research assessment in Italy, Siena ranked 3rd in the area of economics and statistics among large faculties. Major strengths of the department are its international projection and its pluralistic intellectual environment. The department is regularly visited by prominent scholars and researchers.
