The European Institute of Japanese Studies (EIJS) was established in 1992 as
an autonomous research institution within the Stockholm School of Economics.
EIJS focuses five activity areas including information, public seminars,
education, corporate relations, and research. Ultimately, EIJS works to
strengthen the Euro-Japanese relationships in the world's economy.Â
