Catholic University of Louvain

The Catholic University of Louvain (UCL) was first established in 1425 as a private Catholic academic institution in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. UCL is the largest French speaking school in the country and is also the oldest university in Belgium. Approximately 27,300 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students are enrolled in the diverse faculties at UCL. Furthermore, in 2011 UCL was ranked as the 125th best academic institution in the world by QS World University Rankings.
