Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE)

The Center for Operations Research and Econometrics (CORE) at the  Universite Catholique de Louvain in Belgium was founded in 1966. There are approximately 120 researchers and 30 professors working at CORE in order to integrate applied and fundamental research regarding econometrics, and similar topics concerning economics. CORE uses methodological, computational, and theoretical research tools to further develop methods of statistical inference and optimization practices throughout Europe and other areas of the globe.
