The interdisciplinary connections amongst all the Life Sciences departments
on the Weihenstephan Campus enable the exploration of the entire life cycle
of foodstuffs and raw materials. Researches at Weihenstephan examine the
value creation chain from genetic and biological fundamentals, through
production and processing to consumption. The close networking of the
research disciplines is the trump card of the Center of Life and Food
Sciences Weihenstephan. Furthermore, WZW is deivided into 7 research
departments and has 4 faculties assosciation with TUM.Â
