Central Bank of Uruguay

The Central Bank of Uruguay was established in 1967 as the autonomous state entity which issues currency and manages the banking system within the country. Main responsibilities of the Central Bank consist of representing the government on a financial level, administering international reserves of Uruguay, manage credit, and supervise all financial state institutions.   bcu.gub
