In 1979 the College of Economics at the Jinan University was
established in Guangdong, China. The College is characterized as one of the
leading colleges in the southern region of China and offers premiere programs
to more than 3,000 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral students. Approximately
131 faculty members in the College's 5 departments are specialized in fields
such as economics, finance, trade, statistics, political and world economy,
and applied economics.
