The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was founded in
1991 in London, England and has become the largest financial investor in
their area of work, with operations covering central Asia and Europe, as well
as portions of the Mediterranean. EBRD is owned by the European
Investment Bank, the EU, and by 64 countries that are using their services to
progressively become market economies
