The German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) was officially established in 2011 as a governmental international enterprise owned by the German federal government. GIZ is headquartered in Bonn and Eschborn Germany, and has continuous projects in more than 130 countries around the globe. The GIZ works mainly with the private sector, states, and state agencies while developing programs concerning economic employment, democracy, education and health, environment, infrastructure, and agriculture.   giz
