Nordic Development Fund

The Nordic Development Fund (NDF) is a collaborative development finance institution shared between the five Nordic countries. NDF aims to facilitate investments in developing countries that work to adapt to or combat climate change.   NDF works together with bilateral and multilateral development institutions to offer financing. The choices made by NDF adhere to the Nordic countries’ priorities in the areas of climate change and development. The development cooperation budgets of all five Nordic countries combined provides NDF's development budget. NDF is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland and has been in operation since 1989. NDF
