The Indian Econometric Society (TIES) was established in 1960 as a registered
society under the Public Societies Registration Act in New Delhi, India. TIES
is one of the oldest organizations for economists in the country and
currently has more than 2,000 members from around the globe. Furthermore,
TIES works to organize conferences, seminars, and workshops concerning
mathematics, statistics, and economics.
