Universidad EAFIT - School of Economics and Finance

EAFIT is a cutting-edge university that offers 19 undergraduate programs, 3 doctorates, 21 master’s degree programs and more than 60 graduate certificate programs, as well as continuing education programs. The recently created School of Economics and Finance offers undergraduate (B.Sc.) and graduate (Specialization, Master of Arts and Master of Science) programs in Economics and Finance. EAFIT is aims to be a worldwide known research institution and in this line the School of Economics and Finance is the house of the Center for Research in Economics and Finance which is comprised of research groups in economics and the firm, spatial economics (Rise) and Finance and Banking. Medellin is Colombia’s second leading city after Bogotá, the nation’s capital, and is regarded as a commercial, industrial and technological development hub. It is a leader in the areas of finance, banking, public services, politics, the arts, culture, communications, fashion and entertainment.
