University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur - Education and Research

The University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur was founded in 1963 and is a member of the Universities of Applied Sciences of Eastern Switzerland (FHO). This public federal institution is comprised of six faculties, each offering Bachelor, Master and further education programs. With approximately 1600 students, HTW Chur provides an excellent learning environment with an intimate atmosphere, modern facilities, and small, student-oriented classes. Applied research, regional services and development are the main tasks of the institutes of this university, such as the Swiss Institute for Entrepreneurship (SIFE). It is dedicated to the establishment and development of enterprises and innovation implementation. The institute’s three research areas are Innovation, Start-up & Growth, and Internationalisation. Altogether, the knowledge and innovation potential of the University of Applied Sciences HTW Chur are transferred into the economy and society.
