In 1958 Xiangtan University (XTU) was established as a public academic
institution in Hunan, China. More than 1,400 Chinese and international
students are enrolled in the 22 distinguished departments and schools at the
XTU . The university offers courses intensive courses to bachelor's,
master's and doctoral student, as well as students of national defense.
