This year's honorees under the theme 'Courage for Change' include Gabrielius Landsbergis for politics, Hélène Huby for business, and Prof. Dr. Monika Schnitzer for economics.
In the politics category, Gabrielius Landsbergis, the Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, is lauded for his far-sighted foreign policy strategies, particularly regarding Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Landsbergis' proactive approach and insightful analysis have helped position Lithuania as a respected voice within NATO.
Hélène Huby, Co-Founder and CEO of The Exploration Company in Munich, has been recognized in the business category for her expertise in the aviation industry and her entrepreneurial spirit in democratizing space exploration through European solutions.
