Offer Description
The University of Rijeka, Faculty of Economics announces COMPETITION 13/2026 to conduct the selection procedure for one executive for the scientific and teaching position of Assistant Professor, for the scientific field of social sciences, the scientific field of economics, the scientific branch of finance, for an indefinite period with a part-time working time of 20%.
Applicants must meet the conditions set out in the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act (OG 119/22).

- CV
- Proof of Croatian citizenship or citizenship of another country; foreign citizens require proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (advanced level)
- Proof of the acquired academic degree of Doctor of Science (if qualification obtained abroad, a reasoned opinion of the competent agency on the foreign educational qualification is required)
- Decision on selection for a scientific title (if applicable)
- Proof of meeting conditions prescribed by the Decision of the Rectors' Conference on assessment of teaching and professional activities
- List of scientific and professional papers

Applicants claiming the right to priority in employment must mention it in their application and provide necessary evidence.
The Faculty retains the right to conduct knowledge and skills tests or interviews with applicants. Those who fail to attend the test will be considered to have withdrawn their application. The Faculty also reserves the right not to select any applicant.

The deadline for submitting applications is 30 (thirty) days from the publication of the competition in the Official Gazette.
