The Faculty of Business Adiminstration and Economics at Bielefeld University has an opening for a doctoral position associated with the working group on Economic Theory and Computational Economics (ETACE). Research will focus on analysis of firm behavior, economic dynamics and dynamic effects of economic policy or regulation in the context of technological change, digitalization or related topics. A methodological focus on one of the fields of dynamic optimization, dynamic games, numerical methods, (agent-based) simulation, machine learning or a combination thereof is desirable.
The successful candidate is expected to enroll in the doctoral programme of the Bielefeld Graduate School of Economics and Management (BiGSEM). The position is for 3 years (with potential extension) and remunerated according to a 66% position in level 13 of the TV-L payment scheme.
