The chair of Public Economics and Economic Policy, Department of Law and Economics, at Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany) invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher (100%) in economics with a fixed-term contract for 3 years that can be prolonged for another 2 years.
You will join the team as a PhD candidate and contribute to the chair's research and teaching activities.
At the time of starting, a successful candidate
- holds a completed university degree (very good or distinction) in economics- or an economics-related field of study,
- has full proficiency in English and a good knowledge of German, and
- is motivated to undertake research in the fields of public economics and economic policy.
Opportunity for further qualification (doctoral dissertation) is given. The fulfilment of the duties likewise enables the scientific qualifications of the candidate. Participation in the doctoral program of the Graduate School of Economics, Finance, and Management is supported.
