The Department of Economics invites applications from candidates in all fields of economics. Research aligned with the department's areas of expertise will be considered as an asset. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in economics obtained at least five years prior to the appointment date and should have a well-established record of research and publications in leading field or general-interest journals.
The successful candidate is expected to pursue an active and internationally recognized research agenda, teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels (approximately 128 hours per year), supervise doctoral students, and provide academic leadership within the department. Proficiency in conversational French is an asset. Teaching may be conducted in either French or English, but the successful candidate is expected to be able to teach part of their load in French within four years of appointment.
The position is open to candidates both within and outside the French university system. Researchers (chargés de recherche) in French public institutions must hold the qualification at the time of appointment. The position is permanent (tenured).

The LEDa (Laboratoire d’Économie de Dauphine) is the Department of Economics at Université Paris-Dauphine.
