This position provides administrative support to the Provost and oversees the daily operations of the Provost’s office. Working closely with the deans of each school, the President’s office, the Registrar’s office, the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Student Affairs, Information Technology, and Student Accessibility, this position provides support for academic and co-curricular programs, spiritual formation, and diversity initiatives.
Compile and prepare faculty tenure and promotion materials from all schools.
Assist the provost in gathering, editing, and summarizing information requested, as well as by preparing some of these materials for presentation.
Maintain the provost's calendar, including scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements.
Oversee the Howard A. White Award for Teaching Excellence and faculty emeritus process.
Assist the provost in arranging commencement speakers. Help plan the annual faculty conference and other department events.
Provide administrative support for university committees, including the University Academic Council, the University Diversity Council, the University Tenure Committee, and the University Grievance Committee.
Provide guidance to faculty initiating requests to the Provost's office.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in higher education administration or related fields. Excellent communication (writing and oral) skills; ability to work in a collaborative environment; detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks at one time; knowledge of institutional organization, policies, goals, and mission. Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Preferred: Master's degree. Ability to evaluate procedures and streamline processes, envision and initiate new projects, and prioritize tasks. PeopleSoft
