The purpose of this position is to execute student account related processes and transactions that allow prospective and current students to settle their tuition. This position performs functions critical for maintaining operational excellence, contributes to effective enrollment management, and ensures customers' satisfaction with student account related services.
Ensures compliance/processing of all VA, YR and SACM transactions. Responds to students and staff's inquiries pertaining to student accounts. Provides in-person, phone and email counseling on student account related issues.
Manages the refund process. Audits accounts/service indicators. Manages the student account communication/3C processes. Administer PS system regression/rate table testing. Processes company reimbursement invoices.
Oversees for special billing and collection processes ( including promissory notes, collection accounts communication). Sets up students accounts and payment plans.
Presents at new student orientation and participates in other events organized by the program offices for new and continuing students. Attends training events.
Develops and maintains the Student Accounts Master Calendar.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Uphold the University mission through work performed.

Skills and Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum of two years of current and position-relevant relevant experience. Knowledge of student account processes and federal regulations related to student accounts. Excellent communication/customer service/interpersonal skills. Detailed oriented, able to administer individual and group counseling. Strong organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, familiarity with imaging systems, web based systems and applications.
Preferred: Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance. Four years of current position-related experience. Project management skills are preferred. Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft Student System. Proficiency in Nolij imaging system.
