Job Responsibilities

  • The primary focus of this position is on inventory management and analysis.
  • The operations business analyst will monitor inventory levels and activity in order to identify any potential excess or obsolete (E&O) inventory with the goal of eliminating or mitigating any negative impact.
  • The analyst will perform root cause analysis to identify opportunities for improving overall inventory management.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
  • Organizes, leads and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
  • Measures performance against process requirements.
  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
  • Communicates team progress.

Minimum Qualification

  • The successful candidate should have a college degree in a business or finance discipline and possess strong analytical skills.
  • They must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and have some experience with SAP or similar enterprise system
