Post Doctoral Researcher in International Economics / Urban and Regional Economics

The position is fixed for a term of 3 years, salary according to E13 TV-L (75% - 100%). An extension of the contract by one year is sought. The preferred start is October 2025. Your tasks include independent research in International Economics / Urban and Regional Economics, presentation of your research work at international conferences, workshops, and seminars, publication of your research in high-level international journals, contribution to the teaching of the Chair – 4 teaching hours per week per semester, supervision of theses, assisting with the organization and activities of the Chair.

The following qualifications are required: Excellent Ph.D. in Economics in the mentioned fields, strong background in economic theory, empirical and quantitative methods, strong software skills (e.g. R, Stata, Mathematica), excellent communication in English, willingness to contribute as a team member to the activities of the Chair and department.
