The Department of Economics at the University of Bergamo is inviting applications for a position as Postdoctoral Researcher in Experimental and Behavioral Economics.
The researcher will join a research team working on the behavioral foundations of economic growth and development in Italy. The project focuses on the reconstruction of the geographic distribution as well as the historical socio-economic and institutional determinants of civic capital using a hybrid laboratory and in-the-field experimental approach. To this purpose, the research team has set up a brand-new experimental infrastructure, consisting of two laboratories (fixed and mobile) and a subject pool of approximately 24,000 students.
The duration of the position is for three years starting in fall/winter 2020. Net monthly salary will be ca. 1800 Euro including full health insurance coverage. The researchers will be endowed with research funds and will be able to spend three months abroad at a host university as visiting researcher.
