The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel invites applications for a position as
Professor of Corporate Finance
(Assistant Professor Non-Tenure Track)
To begin on August 1, 2019 or by appointment.
The professorship in corporate finance will join an active research group in the fields of capital market theory, financial management, computational finance, accounting, but also contract theory or quantitative methods. The professorship is for a maximum of five years.
The position involves teaching at the Bachelor’s and/or Master’s level and contributing to the faculty’s doctoral program. The teaching commitment amounts to four hours per week each semester. Teaching can be held in German or English.
Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in economics, finance or related areas. Your research focus should be preferably in the field of empirical research related to asset pricing.
