The Department of Economics invites applications for a temporary position as
Professorship of Economics (for a limited period until September 30, 2023)
The successful candidate is expected to carry out both teaching and research in Economics, with a focus on Behavioral Economics.
Prerequisites for this position are a university degree, teaching skills at university level, a doctoral degree or a comparable specific qualification, and furthermore excellent academic achievements and a productive and promising research program. With an excellent record in research and teaching to date, prospective candidates will have demonstrated the potential for an outstanding academic career. Candidates interested in the position should have a strong research record or potential, as indicated by publications in leading international journals. Teaching may be at the Bachelor, Master or PhD level.
The duration of the appointment is planned to be until the end of September 2023. Salary is payed according to basic salary of a full professor (without the possibility of performance based payments according to Art. 69 Abs. 1 BayBesG). The appointee will be fully liable for taxes and social security.
