The Role:

 

The Project Manager is at 12 month Maternity Cover responsible for the successful delivery of an assigned project that supports integration of digital solutions capable of improving efficiency in operational workflows.

The objective of the Project Manager is to create and maintain focus, enthusiasm and momentum for the project, to drive timely completion of key milestones and ensure the goals are met, whilst ensuring they align with the organisational framework and adhere to accepted professional industry standards, quality / regulatory standards and practices (GLP or GMP). 

 

  • Broad understanding of planning and execution of projects
  • Building and executing clear communication strategies 
  • Tracking deadlines and deliverables throughout the project lifespan 
  • Presenting data, results or business updates to the organisation 
  • Managing third party contributions to the programme (e.g. SME, Department Managers) 
  • Managing risks to the programme's successful outcome 
  • Strong understanding of project management and stakeholder management. 

 

 

  • Scientific or IT background 
  • Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes 
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment 
  • Actively engage with tasks and people to influence and drive action.
