Summary: Under guidance of Quality Management, Provide support to the organization’s quality compliance functions by assisting with key elements of NuVasive quality programs.
Essential duties and responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Support the NuVasive quality program by assisting with the implementation of quality procedures and programs, including providing training as necessary. Assist in implementation of improvements to the quality system in coordination with quality management and cross-functional teams.
- Support the organization’s audit program by providing leadership in administrative activities during the conducting of external audits, including facility preparations and scheduling, record retrieval, and documentation of activities.
- Provide support to ensure that quality system activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and standards including, but not limited to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standards, and the European MDD (Medical Device Directive)/MDR (Medical Device Regulations).

Education and/or Experience: Associate’s Degree (A.A/A.S) or equivalent from a college or university; plus two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills: Proficient and accurate with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), presentation programs (Power Point), charting, flow charting, and graphs. Competency in navigating the Internet.
Language Skills: Fluency in English required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstracts and/or concrete variables.
