RESEARCH ASSOCIATE FOR THE PROJECT “GLOBALINTO”
(Capturing the value of intangible assets in micro data to promote the EU's growth and competitiveness)

The position in accordance with Section 28 subsection 3 of the Hamburg higher education act (Hamburgisches Hochschulgesetz, HmbHG) commences on as soon as possible.
This is a fixed-term contract in accordance with Section 2 of the academic fixed-term labor contract act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz, WissZeitVG). The term is fixed until 31st of January 2022. The position calls for 100 % of standard work hours per week**. This position is also suitable for part time employment.
Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.
Research associates have to successfully contribute to the foreseen research tasks and deliverables within the GLOBALINTO project under the supervision of the project leader. They have to support the project leader with the day-to-day organizational issues of the project. Presence in Hamburg is required except for the foreseen research related absences.
A university degree in a relevant field. The ideal candidate should be in their Post-Doc stage or have nearly finalized their PhD in economics. The candidate should be able to work independently. Very good English language skills are expected. Very good knowledge in Econometric and Statistics are expected, as well as a very good command of Stata (or a similar statistical software) is expected. Micro-econometric experience is expected. Knowledge of the research field on intangible capital and labour productivity growth would be an asset.
