The Institute for Employment Research (IAB) is the research institution affiliated with the Federal Employment Agency (BA). As one of the leading institutions for labour market research in Europe, it advises political actors and the professional public based on the latest scientific findings. Our mission statement serves as our compass - find out more at www.iab.de.
You will work in the research department “Education, Training, and Employment Over the Life Course”, which examines the relationship between educational processes and labour market opportunities for various fields of education, such as school and vocational training, higher education and further training. Our research activities are related to both labour market entry and labour market careers.
Our empirical research is based on administrative data from the Federal Employment Agency, and particularly on survey data, which we largely draw from own surveys.
