INOMICS announces the release of its 4th Handbook edition, a career magazine for economists, including COVID-19 special coverage
Berlin, April 27th, 2020
Today, INOMICS, the site for economists, released its 4th annual Handbook - the ultimate career guide in the field.
This year’s edition is far more comprehensive than its predecessors, spanning themes as diverse as: tax reform in the UK and US; sexism in our economies; the student-debt crisis; lucrative jobs in economics; and, of course, INOMICS’ own take on the COVID-19 pandemic. On top of these, you will find contributions from eminent economists Marcel Fratzscher and Matthew O. Jackson, and a profile of the Lives and Livelihoods Fund, written by its founder Mr Waleed Ahmad J. Addas. The INOMICS Awards also returns, celebrating the Top Employers, Training Courses, Master’s and PhD programmes, Conferences, and Summer Schools, as chosen by INOMICS’ trusted users. The Luiss Guido Carli University, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, and Review of Socio-Economic Perspectives, all count among this year’s worthy winners. On the Handbook’s publication, INOMICS’ CEO, Andreas Hoffman, commented:
‘I am particularly proud of our home-office team for delivering this bumper handbook in such trying circumstances. It’s been a wonderful group effort and I couldn't be happier! I’d also like to use this as an opportunity to applaud the economics community for its work in mitigating the crisis in which we are mired, and encourage it to go further. Its contributions have been invaluable, and I know it has much more to give. And finally to our readers. Never before has making the right career decisions been so important. We sincerely hope this Handbook helps you with that process.’
