19th BiGSEM Doctoral Workshop
Economics, Finance, and Management

We are open to submissions from all fields of economics, finance, and management. We encourage applications from PhD students at any stage of their doctoral studies. Submissions are not restricted to polished papers. Early stage research projects are also welcome.
The BiGSEM Doctoral Workshop offers short talks. Authors should fill out the online application form (uni-bielefeld.de/bigsem-submission) and submit an extended abstract (2-3 pages) as part of their application until September 30, 2024.
The workshop is free for participants. However, space is limited. Travel and accomodation assistance will be provided. The workshop language is English.

This international workshop, entirely organized by BiGSEM candidates, aims to provide doctoral candidates in economics, finance, and management with an opportunity to present their research as well as discuss its methods and content in progress with peers and researchers in an informal atmosphere. In this way, participants can talk about new developments in their field and establish contacts in a research network.
