The Italian Research Institute on Sustainable Economic Growth (CNR-IRCrES) is pleased to bring to academics and researchers the IWcee25 - XIII International Workshop of Computational Economics and Econometrics to be held in Rome, 3-5 December 2025.
The workshop aims to explore innovative data sources, computational advances, and interdisciplinary approaches as drivers of actionable insights and transformative change in the social sciences. Particular attention will be given to the evolving relationship between human behavior and digital ecosystems and the societal impact of digital transformation in shaping economic, political, and cultural landscapes.
We invite submissions of papers related, but not limited to: Digital Society Analytics; Innovations in Computational Methods; AI & Machine Learning for Policy Evaluation; NLP & LLMs for Socio-Economic Research; the Digital Economy’s Impact on Social Structures; AI and computational methods for Policy Simulation and Evidence-Based Governance.
The keynote lectures will be delivered by Sukjin Han (University of Bristol).
