The research priority program Interdisciplinary Public Policy from the JGU Mainz, Germany organizes an in-person summer school on "Adanced Methods in Behavioral Economics" from 27th September - 1st October 2021. 

 

 

This course is designed for students from the fields of economics and related disciplines in the social sciences. The main purpose of this course is to bring PhD students with an interest in behavioral economics in contact with methodological advancements in the field โ€“ and in contact with each other. Students from related disciplines who are  interested in behavioral research can also benefit from participating in this summer school. There is no specific pre-requisite for this course other than being interested in doing behavioral research, e.g., as part of your doctoral dissertation. The third part requires basic knowledge of the programming language Python. We will provide you with details and materials regarding the necessary prerequisites 4-6 weeks in advance which should prepare you sufficiently.

The participation fee for the summer school is 400โ‚ฌ and covers the sessions of the summer school. Hence, students need to provide accommodation themselves.
